Overall responsible for the distance learning program at the college. Monitor the activities and performance of faculty engaged in distance education. Support and offer on-going professional development opportunities for faculty. Identify appropriate programs for distance delivery and manage the development of new programs both locally and abroad. Responisble for the hiring of new faculty when needed. Collaboration with the Director of Online & Training Services to develop and improve the tools, technologies and services to faculty and enhances the teaching/learning experience. Collaborate with academic divisions regarding requests for programs and courses offered via distance education and determines their feasibility. Oversee the advisement of students registering for distance education courses and programs; as well as inquires, issues of plagiarism and student complaints. Included in my responsibilities is the oversight of the evening Health Care Certificates (Medical Assistant, Medical Coding and Ophthalmic Assistant) programs. Also a member of several College committees including The Council for Community, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, NEASC Self Study Team, Instructional Technology, and Strategic Enrollment Management Team. |

Responsible for the overall operation of the Division of Continuing Education, which includes fall, intersession, spring, and summer sessions, as well as the distance-learning program. Additional responsibilities include hiring and supervising adjunct faculty, full-time and part-time staff, and assisting current and prospective students. Additional responsibilities beginning January 2004 include overseeing the Community Services program and the Center for Business and Professional Development. |

Responsible for assisting the Dean of the School of Continuing Education with all aspects of evening, weekend and summer school. Also responsible for supervising both full‑time and part‑time staff, assisting Continuing Education students through registration, academic counseling, all paper work, policies and procedures, as well as providing accurate information to potential students seeking assistance at our offices. Responsible for the coordination of the Fire Science program to include recruitment, course selection, evaluation, advocacy and all other responsibilities necessary to maintain academic integrity. |
